NICU pictures

Pictures of the twins progress in the NICU.  

After almost 9 weeks the twins joined our family in our home.  The doctors and nurses were so amazing.  Feeling so grateful and so very blessed.

Feeding time - Preemies have not developed eating skills yet. They have a hard time breathing, swallowing and eating all at the same time.  Twins eating on their side to help with choking & nipple flow.

Hallee could visits the twins on sunday afternoon for 20 minutes.  She just adored the twins and was super cute with the girls.  All the nurses just loved Hallee.

Twins are finally home 10/5/13

Averie and Lillie passed all of their test; they get to come home!  There are both breathing and eating on there own without any problems.  We don't have to bring any machines or oxygen home this time.  Feeling so excited, overwhelmed and very blessed.

After what seemed like an extrememly long long time (because it was), our babies are finally home!  After almost 9 weeks of being in the NICU Averie Lee and Lillie Lew came home on October 5th (Hallee's 6th birthday).   It took about 4 hours to get the twins discharged. After signing papers, reviewing, talking to doctors and nurses, feed the babies and watch CPR movies etc.

Finally we were on our way home for the first time ever with 4 kids.

 I have two of the most sweetest babies that are colic, have acid reflex and both haver hernias.  Poor little things.  Averie is on the right, with lillie on the left.

Hallee 6th birthday

Hallee is 6.  I can't believe how big she has gotten and how much fun this little girl is.  Some of Hallee's favorite things are: playing,  getting dirty, art, outdoors stuff, bike, movies, kindergarten, kung fu, swimming, playing with Amon and her sisters and being a huge helper.

Hallee 6th birthday.  She wanted a Barbie birthday cake.

Hallee got completely spoiled for her birthday.  Went to the movie cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2 the night before.   Then She got fun presents: barbies & accessories, my little pony and a pink bike.  Had a beck party & peck party.  But most she got spoiled with  her twins sister come home on her birthday!

Busy September

Busy September. With kindergarten stating,  twins in NICU (Finding babysitters, pumping, Running around to drop kiddos off to run to the NICU to run home to pick them up to run to get lunch to run Hallee  to school). In between all that we had bridal dinner, bachelor party, marian temple sealing, dinner party, Brady & Dani wedding and pictures.

Way home from wedding pictures wore Amon right out.   Unfortunitally the weather outside turned gray and stormy so wedding got moved indoors.
