Feb 2010 in review

I have many mixed emotions right now. Feb. has seemed to be a very challenging month. 1- My grandma is in the hospital (ICU) and it has taken it toll it seems on just about everyone. she is so loved. She is a fighter and i believe that she is fighting. She was stable enough to do an operation, which is good new- so we are all praying and hoping that she pulls through this. My grandpa is such a wonderful strong person, I would be a reck if i was in his place. 2- I also have been emotional about see my baby grow up. I look at Hallee now and see a toddler instead of my little baby. She no longer will stay in her crib, she is a gymnast of sorts and can climb in and out at will. So we moved her to a big bed. (I almost started to cry, being a mom turned me into a huge baby). I hate that they grow up so fast. Yesterday was her first nap on her terms. She did finally tucker out but instead of her bed she decided to nap on the floor. But last night she sleep just fine in her big new bed. I half expected her to come down the stairs to my room in the middle of the night; But she didn't she slept just fine in her big bed. 3- I feel like my 28 month old is going on 12 year old. I was shaving my legs this morning. Hallee came up to me and said Hallee wants to shave her legs too. I just started laughing. Shaving legs better be a good 10 years down the road. Our little family-Ben and I trying to teach Hallee how to pucker for the camera. I thought it was a really funny picture. We did get a way for a three day vacation of sort. We visited my big brother and his family-Addy celebrated her birthday while we were in town. Addy is 4 months younger than Hallee, and they are completely opposites. Addy is a complete girly girl, wants her hair and nails done. Addy plays by herself, sits quietly, is a shy girl. Hallee is loud, a tease, loves to make people play with her and Hallee would rather pay in the mud and get dirty. Total opposites, but they play wonderfully together. Dallin & Hallee waking Kenzie up each morning with a couple of body slams. Of course with my help, I couldn't let them have all the fun to themselves. Hallee & Addy playing together. Hallee playing guitar hero-She was on the drums with Ty & Kenzie on the guitar with Dallin singing, I have to admit Dallin is amazing, he has the word memorized. He is only 5 and can out sing me. 4- Hallee is so independent, she does not ever need my help. My little girl tells me every day this phrase "I can do it all by my self." Yes so i have tried to stop asking if i can help her. Here Hallee is painting her own nails. (don't worry it is kid finger nail polish). Yes my 28 month old is going on 12 years old or so it seems. How much I love my little family. Ben is the best hubby i could ever ask for and Hallee keeps me on my toes and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Christmas 2009

First Christmas in our new empty house. It was wonderful! Christmas was expecially fun this year, mostly because Hallee could understand everything. Last year she just loved to tear through peresents. This Christmas she understood that it was Jesus Birthday. She loved santa clause & we even had to have her stop playing with each toy so she could open them all. We had a ton of Christmas parties and Hallee got to see santa twice. Yes so spoiled! We must have done a good job explaining santa to her becase she loved loved loved him. The first time Santa came was to the Peck Christmas party. He had a huge bag full of present and of course Hallees just happen to be at the very bottom. It almost killed her to wait and watch 10 other little kids go sit on santa's lap. But finally it was her turn, when he called her name she walked up all by her self, turned around infront of him and waited for him to pick her up. She answered his questions told him she was two. When he handed her a present her face just lit up. Hallee's tea party set from santa-Peck party Hallee and her two couz playing tea party. My wonderful Peck grandparents. They keep the family so close together. I love them so much! Peck party 2009- talent show. Every year we do a talent show, which is sometime not so talented, so this year I decided to get ready a week prior instead of the day of. I taught Hallee jingles bells so we could sing it for our talent. She knew it and then got distracted and started dancing instead of singing. So much for working with her for a week to learn the song-oh well. This is a picture of the williams family reading the birth of christ as there talent, I didn't get a picture of us singing so the Williams will have to do. Gave him loves, cheesed it for the camera and even gave his beard a good pull. Hallee was spoiled rotten this year. Sledding & playing in the snow

We went up to the mountains for a short couple of days. Mainly just to let Hallee play in the snow & PLAY she did. Hallee & I bundled up for some fun in the snow. Being pulled on a sled. I thought Ben was driving to fast. So I switched him I drove and him and Hallee were on the sled. Then he kept telling me to go faster. I just couldn't with my little 2 year old. Funny how different mommy's and daddy's can be. Hallee jumping & kicking and throwing snow. She was bundle up pretty good, it was pretty funny to watch her do a bum in the snow then try to get up. Snow Fun

Fun in the snow 12/2009 Ben build a huge snowman, but my camera died so i didn't get a good picture but it was awsome it towered over Ben. The third snowball for the head was so big and heavy that Ben had to have my help lifting it up. I didn't really help i just mainly supervised. Ben and Hallee enjoying them selves in the snow. Hallee thought the snow was so much fun. She decided to let kitty enjoy it too. He sure didn't appreciate her trying to share. But Hallee thought it was pretty fun to keep throwing snow balls at the kitty anyways.
