Christmas 2010

Christmas this year we started off with present at our house, followed by Hallee's treasure hunt. Went to Dennis for Christmas breakfast, followed by presents. Then to my mom and dads for present and treasure hunt, then food and games. Then back home to open stockings. I love Christmas! I love watching Hallee the wonder and joy as she opens presents. Our Christmas tree, I bought a 12 foot tree at the end of last year. So this was the first time we were able to open and use it, it was like a early christmas present. Ben and Hal opening present on Christmas morning. Ben and I bought a couch and freezer for Christmas so all our pictures are of Hallee. Hallee with Grandma and Grandpa looking at her treasure hunt picture - Ben drew pictures and rolled them up like a treasure map and hid them. Hallee was delighted with the idea of finding her last present. This is a fun tradition my parents started and we wanted to carry it on with our family. Her last present she found from the treasure hunt. I love that she is three the present was in plan sight; we just put a blanket over it until it was time for her to find it. My mom and dad after finding there last present from Ben, Hallee and I. I knew this would be there favorite Christmas present. We had an ultrasound picture inside and Hallee's new shirt that says she is a big sister.

Snow Day

Every time it snows Hallee asks if she can go out and play in it. I dont like being cold so usually its just Ben and Hal and kitty playing in the snow while I take pictures. Ben and Hallee playing in the snow. Ben started to shovel the walk while Hallee was enjoying the snow. Next thing we know Hallee decides to slide down our steep, dirty, slippery, drive way on her belly. Enter the idea of making an actual snow slide. Thanksgiving 2010

This video is so funny that i just had to add it. The whole family playing rock band. Dallin and Kenzie are amazing singer and Hallee gets Addy with the drum stick a couple of times, with Mac playing base.

Halloween 2010

For Halloween this year Hallee was tinkerbell, so we decided to do a peter pan theme, Ben was Captain Hook and i was also a fairy. (I couldn't find green tights-or i would have made Ben be peter pan). Marian has a Halloween Party every year, here are acouple of pictures. Captain Hook, Fairy, Billy, Mad Hatter, Superman, & Japan Hallee for somereason followed this which around all night. At the first of the night she would just walk by and say hi witch and by the end of the night she was almost sitting in her lap. It was really cute, it makes me wonder what going on in her head, what she must think about halloween and customes. She kept telling me that she was a good witch and a nice one (apparently according to her most witches must be bad). Hallee loves anything that involves getting messy, needless to say she loves pulling all the guts and seeds out of pumpkins.
