Bahamas April 2012

The Bahamas are were so beautiful and the weather was wonderful in the 80's all week. We mainly played at Atlantis the huge water park most days. We went scuba diving And played at the beach and we even went to the dolphin encounter. We got to pet, feed, kiss and dance with salvador the dolphin. The food there was nothing to brag about but we didn't eat any native food. We were only in the tourist spot. Didn't actually see much of the country; in the bahamas you have the very rich or the super poor. We sure had a wonderful time with the all the Peck family. Such a beautiful place.

This place was huge. It actually reminded me of The strip at las Vagus.

Bus ride to and from scuba. The Bohamines drive crazy; there doesn't seem to be any speed limit. There are speed bums everywhere, which they don't seem to slow down for. Us three were in the back of the bus being tossed to and fro.

Aquerium- the dig was pretty neat. They had just about everything you could think of to see under the sea. Hallee named one of the stripped fishes Dorthy; so everyday we went to find her fish and say hi Dorthy.

Amon taking his daily naps out and about. He was just a good boy. Well until he got sick Thursday with Roseola his tempature was 103.5, poor thing. Such a little cutie pie.

Hallee loved the beach she never wanted to leave; she was actually rolling in the sand. It was pretty funny, I wish I had it on video. She didn't mind striping at the shower in front of people, either to wash all the sand out of the swim suit. lol You would think she was europian.

Cabin 3/12

We had lots of fun in the snow. My little Hallee never wanted to come out of the snow. And it was my first time playing in the snow all year, I didn't want to come home so soon either. Jess & Hallee & hallees huge snow ball, being pulled behind the snowmobile. Ben & Hallee. Ben did have one huge reck on the tube behind the snowmobile I am so sad I didn't get it on video. He ate it hard after going off a snow jump. Still makes me laugh just thinking about it. We decided to go sledding, we pull up to the top of a mountain and everyone gets off the snow mobile and I start laughing. I didn't think there were serious. Little did I know that they were completely serious. (Picture above is only half way down the mountain). I was very apprehensive to go. To say I had butterflies is a understatement.

I was so proud of Hallee she went down the mountain twice. Once on the sled with kenzie going slower. Then She went with Ben on the Tube going much faster. Hence she wouldn't go down the mountain again. She would't get off the snowmobile after the tube ride. All of us posing after sledding down the mountain. Hallee trying out kenzie's helmet. Amon's 9 Months old

Amon is still pretty small for 9 months. Here are his stats:

Weight: 16lb 12oz - 7.9 %

Length: 26.5 - 1.8 %

Head: 17 in - 10 %

But its not very fair comparing him to the 9 months old when he is 7 1/2 development age. He has learned a lot in the last Month. I can crawl & pull my self up on things. I am loving exploring my new world. Only downer is I don't sit still any more; I need to be on the move. Yup Amon is mobile. He use to push himself backwards with his arms all over the house. But three weeks ago he figured out how to crawl. Now he goes all over the house-forward. Amon and Hallee playing cars. Amon wants to do everything Hallee does. only 9 months and already he thinks he is a big boy. Amon Loves to eat food, he eats all his baby food pretty good; everything except the green stuff-peas & green beans (i think Ben might have had something to do with that). We are down to 4-5 bottles a day-which I am stoked about. He eats bread, no other solids yet. Three naps a day- and usually sleeping through the night. Every now and then he wakes up for a bottle. Love these munchkins so much. So lucky to have these two precious children in our lives.

Finally SNOW

First Time this whole winter season that we were able to play in the snow. It did melt the next day, but at least we were able to make a snowman first.Hallee all bundled up. Amon watching Hallee and Ben playing in the snow Hallee making snow balls. She kept throwing them at kitty, finally kitty had had enough and went to hid in the tall grass bushes. Ben then became her next target. Our snowman. Leaning snowman.

January random

January has been a bit dull with no snow. I love the weather but Hallee asks me daily when it is going to snow so she can go outside and play in it. So here are a bunch of random pictures trying to entertain our selves. I thought this was funny Hallee put some of her stuffed animals on the couch and wanted a picture of them.
