Anniversary

I bought wicked tickets for Ben and I to celebrate our anniversary.  I actually bought 4 tickets thinking I would sell two.  I made 50 Bucks not to bad.  I came down in price, because I felt bad asking for more money. I should have made Ben negotiate, I have never done it before, obesely not one of my strengths.   Ben snuck in and bought me a wicked shirt while I got the tickets.  Ben is my sweetheart.

Wicked was amazing.  Loved all of it!

 Ben and I have been renters,  home owners, got degrees, held many jobs, have one amazing little girl, one sweet baby boy, scuba dived with one another,  and traveled the world together, who knows what in store for us next?   Can't wait to see what the future bring us.  Eight years and counting!!

Lake Powell July 2012

We made it to Lake Powell this year, YEA! We only were there for 3 full days but; we still had time to cram everything in. Swimming, sand, movies, games, golfing, tubbing, surfing, air chairing, jet skiing, and stuffing our faces with yummy food.

Hallee-is my little water bug. If someone was getting in the water Hallee was in there with them. She loves being the center of attention, and with lots of other grandkids to play with she was always happy.

Amon-was walking all over the house boat; against my wishes. Amon figured out how to walk about a week before Lake Powell. He was all over the place, I think he rather enjoyed him self. His favorite thing was to pick up items way to big for himself and pack them around the houseboat.

Grandpa Great couldn't tell these sweet girls no more crackers so they feed half the bag to the fish. I am pretty sure we attracted every fish with in 100 feet over to our boat. I was a little apprehensive to get in the water with all those fishes.

My kids were angles on the ride to and from Lake Powell. Amon took a 2 hr nap both ways. Hallee took a 1-2 hour naps both ways also and all the potty stops actually worked out as we were already stopped for gas. Can I say AMAZING!

Fire 2012

  My neighbor came over that morning about 11AM pounding on my door and told me to pack up my house and get ready to leave.  I was reassured by Ben that I didn't need to pack up my house.  I didn't really think it would get close to our house.  Well until my neighbor lady started running up and down the street screaming.  She mde me a little nervous.  Later the police went around with there sirens and made us evacuate.  We were evacuated at about 2PM.  

At that moment I decided I was ready, really all I needed is my hubby and kids.  Everything in my house could be replaced.  

When we got the call to evacuate, it was a bit sereal walking from room to room think what I would need to pack and what could be lost, if my house was to catch on fire.  I did make Ben grab all my photos books and the laptop just in case.

Amon 1 year old 5/28/12

Honestly I can't believe my baby is a year old. We were going to celebrate his b-day on his due date July 14th, since we were in St. George on his b-day & I haven't actually had him in my home for a year. But July is a busy month so we decided to combine Amon and Ben's birthdays.

Amon's stats from his 12 months appointment:

Weight 19lb 14.5 oz 27%

Length 30in 50%

Head 17.6in 14%

I am so excited about how much he has grown from his 9 months check up. Weight was in the 7% at 9 months now at 12 months Amon is in the 27%. Length at 9 months Amon was 1% now up to the 55%. We are finally above average in something; actually pretty excited that it is in height.

Doctor wants to keep him on formula for another 4 weeks. My doctor usually keeps preemies on formula until their due date not birth date. But since Amon has improved so much we will do 4 weeks instead of 7 weeks.
