IT"S A BOY!

It is finally official; it's 100% boy!

Which was a bit shocking since I have had 5 or 6 ultrsound already, due to complications; And at my last visit, my doctor was 70 percent sure it was a girl. Ben was 100 percent sure it was a girl and Hal thought it was a girl also. Needless to say that my orginal thought that it was a boy also changed. I now need to repack all of Hallee's old pink blankets and invest in some blue ones. But we are sure excited! Below are a couple of our latest and greatest ultrasounds. The baby is due in July but I really hope he comes in June.

Why we love snow

I forget just how much fun snow can be. It seems like we haven't seen much snow this year that we can actually play in. We had the perfect conditions, perfect weather with fluffy powder. We went sledding, snowmobiling, snow angles, building a baby snowman, and even a snow fight-which consisted of only throwing snow at Ben. Hal & Ben posing in there sweet winter gear. I opted out of the picture since I have a bit of a belly. The kids all bundled up to go play in the snow. The snow was 4-5 feet deep. Maybe a little too bundled up; Hallee was waddling from all the clothing, plus the deep snow. The Men getting the snowmobiles ready with the kids keeping the seat warm. Hallee's snow angle. It actually turned out! Hal loves the snow. It was actually difficult talking her into going inside. Hallee and Jess barring Ben in the snow. I couldn't believe just how much snow there was. Our truck actually didn't make it all the way to the cabin, because of all the snow. It was sure fun though. Finding ice icicles. She thought these were pop icicles, and instantly started eating it. Christmas 2010

Christmas this year we started off with present at our house, followed by Hallee's treasure hunt. Went to Dennis for Christmas breakfast, followed by presents. Then to my mom and dads for present and treasure hunt, then food and games. Then back home to open stockings. I love Christmas! I love watching Hallee the wonder and joy as she opens presents. Our Christmas tree, I bought a 12 foot tree at the end of last year. So this was the first time we were able to open and use it, it was like a early christmas present. Ben and Hal opening present on Christmas morning. Ben and I bought a couch and freezer for Christmas so all our pictures are of Hallee. Hallee with Grandma and Grandpa looking at her treasure hunt picture - Ben drew pictures and rolled them up like a treasure map and hid them. Hallee was delighted with the idea of finding her last present. This is a fun tradition my parents started and we wanted to carry it on with our family. Her last present she found from the treasure hunt. I love that she is three the present was in plan sight; we just put a blanket over it until it was time for her to find it. My mom and dad after finding there last present from Ben, Hallee and I. I knew this would be there favorite Christmas present. We had an ultrasound picture inside and Hallee's new shirt that says she is a big sister.

Snow Day

Every time it snows Hallee asks if she can go out and play in it. I dont like being cold so usually its just Ben and Hal and kitty playing in the snow while I take pictures. Ben and Hallee playing in the snow. Ben started to shovel the walk while Hallee was enjoying the snow. Next thing we know Hallee decides to slide down our steep, dirty, slippery, drive way on her belly. Enter the idea of making an actual snow slide.
